For those of you who haven't yet heard, everything you thought you knew about the zodiac, specifically what sign you were born under, is all wrong.Thought you were a Cancer? WRONG! You're actually a Gemini.
Put another way, this is not the Age of Aquarius but, per astronomers (scientific killjoys* who are not to be confused with astrologers, aka unscientific merchants of hope), the Age of Capricornus. Which, I don't know about all of you, just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Confused? Just watch this video. Or read this article on why your horoscope is wrong. (The Cliff Notes version: Because the Earth wobbles, which stars appear when shifts. And over the last 2,000 years, the star field has shifted so much that the zodiac -- or horoscope -- signs are now nearly a month off.)

Also, there are now 13 signs in the zodiac, not the neat dozen, thanks to the addition of the unpronounceable Ophiuchus, "the snake holder." (Bet I know a lot of guys born under that sign.)For those who are curious as to what their "real" horoscope sign is, here is a list of the "new," scientifically accurate horoscope signs and their dates:
- Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
- Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
- Pisces: March 11-April 18.
- Aries: April 18-May 13.
- Taurus: May 13-June 21.
- Gemini: June 21-July 20.
- Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
- Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.
- Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.
- Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.
- Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.
- Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17.
- Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.

I feel you can not down grade a planet-once a planet ALWAYS a planet.

Pluto IS still a planet. Only four percent of the International Astronomical Union voted on the controversial demotion, and most are not planetary scientists. Their decision was immediately opposed in a formal petition of hundreds of professional astronomers. This debate is very much ongoing; I recommend you read Alan Boyle's book "The Case for Pluto" to get a good perspective on why Pluto is still a planet.
Ophiuchus is not new either. Ptolemy and ancient astronomers knew of its existence. It was excluded from the zodiac because severa thousand years ago, it was not exactly along the ecliptic, the plane in which the Earth orbits the Sun.
