And this little piggy went on The TODAY Show!

Apparently "teacup pigs" are all the rage in the UK. So much so that The TODAY Show just did a segment on these petite porkers. I love the line "People love pigs so much, but it's almost impossible to keep a full-grown pig in the house." I hear you, sister. But we women have been doing it for centuries.

According to their breeder, Jane Croft, these "teacup pigs" (it is really only a matter of time until Paris Hilton gets a pair) grow to be between 12 and 16 inches and weigh up to 65 pounds. And they are quite intelligent. (Smarter than your average dog!)

You can find out more here. There is even a website called (of course).

And now I am off to make myself a BLT. : )

Wait'll they find out about the origin of the phrase "happy as a pig in s***"...

Confirmation word "diessise" which is German for "the ssise."

A few things:

1. Oooooh. The Today Show did a segment. It must be a real "thing" huh? (pardon me while I scour the internet for topics that actually matter).

2. George Clooney had a pet pig. It died. Guess is was tired of the porkarazzi

3. Women have been living with pigs for generations huh? (Comment deposited in memory bank).

4. I've been waiting for Paris Hilton to get a pair for several years now. Can you update us when she does?

5. My word verification "word" is "ballism." I find this funny and I'm not sure why. Just sounds like a good Rich Hall "sniglet"

@TommyMac71, actually it appears that The TODAY Show was late to the pork party. Also, per Googlethe phrase "teacup pigs" is the fifth most popular search term. Somewhere pig fanciers must be squealing with delight.

Ann Curry gets dopier and dopier each time I see her (I stopped watching the today show when Katie left).

Those piggies are so cute. They're not furry so I'd imaginine allergy free!
