What you are about to read is the truth.
I have many secrets, and now, finally, I will reveal some of them to you.
I have 18 shades.
And I warn you, some of them are quite blue.
Others are opaque. So no one can see me.
Some are translucent, shedding just a hint of light on what really goes on here.
Look closely, however, and you just might spy a glimpse of pussy...
cat.
(Geez, people. Get your minds out of the gutter.)

Hi Flora!
J-eat some ice cream. That usually works for my blues.
If I didn't know otherwise, the post would suggest that she's a shady character...
Ha ha! A friend gave me the 50 Shades series which I just started reading....didn't know a thing about it. I actually thought Christian Grey's secret was that he was a vampire! I'm no prude but a bit stunned these soft porn novels are on tops on the NYT bestseller list!
@SugarDaze, I have not actually read 50 Shades of Grey, nor do I plan to. Why bother when I have so many juicy secrets of my own? ;-) (Also, I heard it was poorly written and disjointed. I guess good sex trumps good prose.)
Hee hee - funny J.!!! I did read book 1 & 2 of the triology. My face was beet red for both books. I'm now on #3 and since the racy language no longer shocks me...finally noticed the plot is "eh."
When my ten year old daughter saw me reading book #1, she said, "you're reading that book? Emily's mom is reading it!!! Can I see one page, one paragraph, please please please?" (Um, no - if you want to see smut, see it at school like everyone else).
Books have been hidden ever since for safekeeping to pass onto my book buddy in Bangkok.
@Lizzy, I am sure QE2 will have no problem finding a copy of Fifty Shades of Grey (and much steamier stuff) in Bangkok. But while you are at it, tell her to read my blog! :-) Also, be sure to read Chapter 2 of 18 Shades of J., which I posted today. Coming up: Chapter 3, The Shower Scene.
