Putting the ho ho hos in Christmas

Apparently, putting the Ho in Halloween was not good enough for Victoria's Secret. Now they've gone and put the ho ho hos in Christmas.

(Not that I am saying that Victoria's Secret models are hos. But they are going to freeze their tuchuses off dressed in those skimpy outfits at the North Pole. Just saying.)

Also, my suggestion re next year's Victoria's Secret Christmas video? Less singing, more cleavage.

Moving right along....

While I understand Victoria's Secret is an "intimate apparel" company and that sex sells, selling sex for Christmas just seems, I don't know, wrong. (I don't know about all of you, but I do not want to envision mommy French kissing Santa Claus.)

Call me an old fart but it used to be if you were naughty, you got a lump of coal, or nothing. Now if you're naughty, you get lingerie from Victoria's Secret.

Though, seriously, who buys panties that say "WHERE'S MY GIFT?"

THE SCENE: The boudoir
GAL (dressed only in her new Victoria's Secret "WHERE'S MY GIFT?" panties): "You like?"
GUY: "Where's my gift? I've got your 'gift' right here, sweetheart."

(See, this is the reason I don't write romance novels, people.)

Hoping you've been nice this year....

Which model would you rather test drive?

One (or both) of these two hard bodies (courtesy of Hollister), like this woman here*...

Or this sexy little number (courtesy of Lamborghini)?

Or, better yet, being chauffeured by one of those fine young men in this fine Lamborghini Gallardo.

Ah, the joys of sightseeing in New York City.

*I tried to get my friend, A., to pose with the lifeguards, but she refused. In retrospect, I should have done it. Next time.

A (super) model bank?

For those of you who haven't seen the (incredibly annoying) Banco do Brasil commercial featuring super -- or uber -- model Gisele Bundchen:

So does that make Banco do Brasil a (super) model bank?

And while I know Gisele Bundchen is nice to look at and has made a mint, would you deposit your mega millions in Banco do Brasil based on that commercial (or the slim chance of running into Gisele at the ATM?)

And speaking of deposits, I wonder how many Tom Brady has made in Gisele's bank...;-)

Well, it's a nice day for a writing 'bout a wedding -- Super QB Tom Brady marries supermodel Gisele Bundchen in twilight ceremony

Hey Gisele Bundchen what have you done?
Hey Gisele Bundchen who's the only one? (Tom Brady!)
Hey Gisele Bundchen who's your superman? (Tom Brady!)
Hey Gisele Bundchen who's the one you want? (Tom Brady!)
Hey Gisele Bundchen shot gun formation!

Well, I heard it was a nice day for a white wedding.

Yes folks, according to various reports, New England Patriots super quarterback Tom Brady and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen tied the knot in "a romantic twilight wedding" in Santa Monica, California, last night.

Apparently, the bride wore ivory Dolce & Gabbana -- as did her three dogs.

So I guess technically it was an off-white wedding.

And speaking of "off" and "white" weddings, if you have not seen the latest "literal" take on a popular video, do check out this version of Billy Idol's "White Wedding":

Weiner Sticks Up for Foreign Models

Thank you, Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) for trying to help give a boost to New York's fashion industry by sticking up for the downtrodden and discriminated against -- by which, I mean, of course, foreign-born supermodels, who "must compete against computer geeks, doctors and other brainiacs for H-1B visas, generally reserved for the 'highly specialized,'" according to an article in today's New York Daily News. (My heart positively bleeds for Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who made $33 million in 2007, compared to the paltry $5 million earned by top American model Carolyn Murphy. And poor Heidi Klum...)

You can read more about Congressman Weiner's courageous fight to bring more (up to 1,000) foreign-born hotties to his Brooklyn, NY district in this article from Politico.

I think I speak for American men everywhere when I say, God bless you, Anthony Weiner. (Though really, dude, don't you and the House of Representatives have better things to legislate?)
