Except these guys only played a scale; you really haven't lived until you've heard "La Bamba" massacred at a funereal pace (it was so slow I didn't recognize it till they were half done!) by a group of kids who's been playing their instruments for three whole months. My daughter and I still nearly pee our pants laughing at the memory of that particular concert, and it was 15 years ago!Emily and Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14421526181503946143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4626928178539178552.post-48107330565123292362010-12-14T15:14:52.602-05:002010-12-14T15:14:52.602-05:00@Dave S.: It won't be a Merry Cliffmas for us ...@Dave S.: It won't be a Merry Cliffmas for us Mets and Nats fans, that's for sure.

@The Daily Del Franco: Silver lining for whom? He signed with the Braves (for less money) and won his title in 1995. However, he lost to the Yankees in 1996 and Jimmy Key, whom was Plan B after failing to sign Maddux. (By the way, the Yankees went on to win the Series in 98, 99 and 00)

So maybe there's a silver lining here. The Daily Del Francohttp://thedailydelfranco.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
